Our services
Specialists in the four technologies that work together.
Most of our installs are a combination, not a single product. A heat pump runs on your solar, your battery shifts the rest to cheap-rate windows, your air conditioning provides comfort cooling on the handful of hot weeks. Designed in-house, installed by the same team.
Air source heat pumps
Low-carbon heating sized to the building you have. Properly-specified systems routinely target SCOPs of 4.0+ even through Highland winters. We provide the documents you need for your Home Energy Scotland grant + loan application.
- MCS-certified for Home Energy Scotland grant eligibility
- Room-by-room heat loss design in-house
- 3–5 days on site, fully qualified engineers throughout

Solar PV
Roof-mounted solar sized to your usage, with hybrid inverters as standard so a battery is straightforward to add later.
- MCS-certified for the Smart Export Guarantee
- Hybrid-inverter ready for future battery
- Zero VAT until April 2027

Battery storage
Smart-tariff arbitrage and solar pairing. Sized to when you use electricity, not just how much.
- Fox ESS and Tesla, among others
- Octopus Energy Trusted Partner
- Backup-mode option available

Air conditioning
Quiet inverter cooling and shoulder-season heating from discreet indoor units. F-Gas-certified installs.
- F-Gas-certified engineers
- Single-split, multi-split, or zoned
- Indoor units chosen for low noise

Ground source heat pumps
Higher-efficiency ground-loop systems for large rural homes, awkward sites, and bigger commercial loads. The right answer when air source isn't.
- MCS-certified (same scope as ASHP)
- Borehole or trench-loop array, designed to the building
- Home Energy Scotland grant applies

Biomass
Log gasification, pellet, and wood chip boilers — Windhager UK as our preferred manufacturer. We routinely integrate biomass with heat pumps and solar PV into a single designed system.
- Windhager log / pellet / wood chip
- MCS-certified
- Designed to integrate with solar and heat pumps

How we design
Design for the building you have, not the catalogue.
Every install we do starts with a survey of the property as it actually is — fabric, insulation, existing systems, how you actually use the space. The system is designed to that data, not to a generic template.
Where it's suitable, retaining proven existing components — cylinder, radiators, pipework — can save customers £5,000 to £10,000 against quotes that replace everything by default. But this only applies where the existing system can still deliver the efficiency the new heat pump needs. The survey tells us whether it can. If it can't, we'll say so.
We also do
Oil and gas boilers — installed and serviced.
Renewables are our focus, but we still install and service oil and gas boilers too — so whatever your property needs, we can help.
